CHIROPRACTIC TECHNIQUES:

Activator Method: The Activator Method Chiropractic Technique® is a diagnostic and treatment system used by some chiropractors to treat many types of back pain, neck pain, and headaches (both chronic and migraine). This Method uses a small, hand-held instrument called the Activator Adjusting Instrument (get image of tool at Zeilinger’s office) to deliver a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

Cox® Technic: This technique is a non-invasive, hands on, doctor-controlled spinal manipulation performed on patients lying a Cox® Table. The table permits the effective administration of Flexion-Distraction and decompression adjustment and manipulation. The goal of Cox® Technic is to help the spinal pain patient go from “pain” to “no pain” as quickly as possible.

Diversified: This technique is characterized by a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust. It is considered the most generic chiropractic manipulative technique and is differentiated from other techniques in that its objective is to restore proper movement and alignment of spine and joint dysfunction.

Logan Basic: This technique helps to release tension often caused by stress. It applies the proper leverage in the right spot and moves the spine towards balance.

Non-Force Techniques: The Directional Non-Force Technique uses a gentle pressure to adjust misalignments of structures that are producing nerve interference. This technique is suitable for infants and the elderly.

Thompson: The Thompson Technique focuses on manipulating the leg joints for the correction of misalignments in the lower back area, around the pelvis and the spine.
